Edinburgh is one of the wealthiest cites in one of the wealthiest states on earth. It is a disgrace that in 2019 families are struggling to put food on the table and Foodbanks are spreading across the country. Helping Hands cannot fix the system but we can create positive change in our communities.

Since our formation in 2014 Helping Hands have collected tonnes of food for foodbanks and community projects in Edinburgh.
In 2019 Helping Hands collected over 40 tonnes of food for families in Edinburgh. We have the volunteers, infrastructure and strategy to get all of them at food delivered to the frontline in the fight against poverty in Edinburgh.
